Phoebe and American compatriot Julian Peters met in Rome, found a lost dog, and agreed to return it to Monte Carlo to share the $5000 bonus. Discovering that the dog owner had died, they panicked and became fugitives. Other unfortunate victims have also become suspects, as the plot twists and turns, luck and judgment abandon everyone.
